A Stampede is coming! Young men and women compete in the craft of the Old West. What was once a daily part of agricultural North America is now a display of courage, bravery and physical strength in modern Rodeo events. The Old West is brought to you in real life. See how legends were made!

The Dodge Rodeo Tour will make a stop in Tweed this year hosted at the beautiful lakeside event park known as Trudeau's Park. For three days when many of North America's finest professional cowboys set up together at the spacious Trudeau's Park to show and compete in duties of the cowboy. Their goal is to take home a slice of the prize money up for grabs at Tweed's stop on the Dodge Truck's Rodeo Tour.

Rodeo events include Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, and Mutton Busting. Live action rodeo is sure to provide excitement for both young and old throughout the "Tweed Stampede"! The Biggest and Best Rodeo Tour in Ontario, Come and feel the excitement!

In addition to the rodeo fun events and camping, there are many other activities all weekend long, including Kids Zone with Face Painting, A Petting Zoo, Mechanical Bull Riding and more. The Stampede will also be a Country & Bluegrass Festival with local entertainers such as: The Younge Family, The Land O' Lake Cruisers and Friends, The Sounds of Tyme, Old Time Fiddlers, as well as some Mainstream recording artists such as Aaron Pritchett, & Corb Lund.

There will be Concessions with some of the finest leather goods anywhere are available along with displays, lucky draws & raffles. There are many great local attractions throughout the Municipality of Tweed to enjoy the entire weekend. Take in a round of golf, walk or ride the Trans Canada Trail, enjoy the beautiful Stoco Lake, visit the farmers market, exotic Lama and Ostrich Farms, grab a bite to eat and more. It is sure to be a fun weekend for all ages, and is in support of the Tweed Lions Club & Tweed Minor Hockey.

The weekend kicks off on Friday at Noon when Trudeau Parks opens. At 5:00 pm the restaurant in the main resort opens its doors for dinner before the first band hits the stage at 9:00 pm. On Saturday you can enjoy a cowboy breakfast that is also open to the public starting at 8:00 am. At noon the rodeo grounds open and there will be plenty of fun to be had in the kid's zone or take some time and check out the vendors. At 2:00 pm the action will be wild and western as the Dodge Rodeo Tour performance begins. The action doesn't stop there - right after the rodeo the Jamboree start on the main stage!

Sunday offers up more of the same with a second cowboy breakfast and vendors and grounds open at 12:00 noon. Another performance from the Dodge Rodeo Tour takes flight at 2:00 pm and afterwards you can round the weekend off with a Blue Grass Jamboree!
