Here's a Full Rundown of what will be happening at the Tweed Stampede & Jamboree this year!
For all the good things that have come Aaron Pritchett's way the past few years, for all the accolades and awards, the airplay, the video play and the fans showing up everywhere he goes, for all that and the mere fact he can make a living at this music thing, he takes none of it for granted. And it's for that reason he decided to call his fourth and latest album "Thankful." It's the best thing he's ever done, he thinks. But there's more than a touch of angel dust serendipity that gives it life. The exponential growth of Pritchett's career is the result of a lot of solid planning and arduous work.

SOLOMON WOODLAND from MARLBANK ONTARIO

When 12 year old Solomon isn't singing at a local Jamboree or practicing his guitar or mandolin, he can be found making rustic furniture in the shop that he helped build last year. This young guy likes the country classics, Johnny Cash, Elvis ( the king of Rock and Roll but as far as Solomon's concerned,  could have been the king of country), Hank Williams and Willie Nelson to name a few. Be prepared to be surprised by this little guys sultry voice and country charm.

HARD WORKIN' MEN
A LIVE TRIBUTE TO BROOKS AND DUNN
10:00 PM SUNDAY AT THE MAIN STAGE!

The duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have taken the world of country music by storm. Over 20 number 1 hits, sold out tours, numerous awards from both the Academy of Country Music, and the Country Music Association, sponsorship of race cars, and most recently, acting as hosts for the A.C.M. Awards. Since 1999, as part of the All Star Country Tribute, Al Dollar (Brooks) and Rob Dice (Dunn) have been performing their amazing sound alike, and look alike tribute to Brooks & Dunn.
In 2005, after numerous requests from industry professionals and buyers, Dollar and Dice performed their tribute as a stand alone event, thus the creation of "Hard Workin' Men", named after the #1 hit and album by the same name.

"When I'm giving something every bit of energy I have, I find myself getting short of breath," she reveals, with a giggle (and a slight wheeze that's a little hard to ignore). "I've done it since I was 12 years old. It's anxiety. At the end of this record, I feel like I learned how to breathe better, and I learned how to sing better, and then on the last day of recording, I went and got 'Breathe' tattooed on my wrist." We can probably assume from her comments that Farrell is satisfied with the results. The flame-haired Vancouverite had wrapped-up her debut on the Canadian Country scene with three 2008 CCMAs  when she lit out to Nashville on a writing expedition in mid-2008, winning for Female Artist of the Year, Rising Star, and Top New Female Talent of the Year, not to mention scoring a 2009 Juno nomination for New Artist of the Year.

ELLY KELLY
SUNDAY AT THE MAIN STAGE!

Nothing starts fans feet moving quicker than a good old-time tune played by someone who takes their music seriously. Elly Kelly is that person. Not unlike Floyd Cramer who had a unique touch that produced a sound all his own on piano, Elly Kelly has her own special touch on accordion. You can sense that she loves the music and lives each note while she plays it! Elly grew up in a musical Acadian family in St.Charles, New Brunswick. Her love of music started at a young age and she received a guitar for Christmas when she was 12 years old. She switched to playing accordion when she was 13 and joined her Mom, Dad and brother at square dances, jamborees and talent shows by her 14th birthday.
LAZY JOHN
SATURDAY AT THE MAIN STAGE!

Lazy John can string you along until that toe-tappin', hand clappin', no-nappin' music has you ready to dance 'til the sun comes up. Inspired by the homespun honesty of old time bluegrass and roots music, the members of this five-piece string band were obviously born to tell stories through song. Influenced by the  sounds of Appalachian Stringband, Bluegrass, real Country, Jazz and Blues, Lazy John has distilled a musical concoction all their own while maintaining a deep respect and loyalty to their musical roots. Shane Crumb, Derrick Tompkins, Matt Ray, Luke Mercier and Tim Hadley are

For those of you who travel the local jamboree circuit in the summer, the name Dallas Arney has become familiar and for those who have not yet heard of Dallas, it is very likely you soon will hear her voice on the radio. Dallas and her family are heading to Nashville May 1 and have high hopes about what they hope to accomplish while they are there.  Dallas is 16, lives in Flinton, and started singing only three years ago. "When I first started, I wouldn't sing in front of anyone because I was shy, it was not until I saw my little brother Shane get up on stage and sing that I felt confident enough," said Dallas.  Her father, Randy, accompanies Dallas with his guitar whenever they play smaller venues. Randy has been playing over 30 years and is a very accomplished guitarist. "I would hear Dallas singing in the backyard but as soon as she knew I was listening she would stop, I always knew she had something special."
DALLAS DAISY ARNEY
Sunday at the Main Stage!
Dallas had her first public performances at her church, the Through the Roof Ministry in Flinton. "I really enjoy singing at the church and I got the chance to sing with one of my most important musical influences Ron Clark, who has helped me a lot and Ron also performed on my first CD. Dallas also attributes a lot of her successes to Rick Cameron. "Rick has helped me tremendously by offering a lot of constructive criticism and has helped me learn how to relax and smile on stage."

Dallas has had no formal musical training and her father says that when she writes a song, she sings him the melody and he puts the chords to what she sings. "This often means we are in awkward keys for many who accompany Dallas but I don't like to change what she has written, so we stay in those keys. Dallas has a natural gift for pitch and has been learning to sing harmony from our friend Ron Clark."
